Photo of Alex

With over 35 years of experience planning and designing higher education facilities—including health science and medical education buildings—Alex is a principal and leader in our Science and Technology sector. By combining traditional programming and master planning techniques with analytical studies and visual models of space utilization patterns, he brings a data-driven design approach to academic, clinical, and research facility projects.

Alex has delivered many presentations at national conferences, including Tradeline Facility Strategies for Academic Medicine and the Health Sciences, Society for College and University Planning, and Tradeline Research Facilities to industry peers. He has a master of architecture degree from Syracuse University, and a master’s degree in community economic development from Southern New Hampshire University. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the U.S. Green Buildings Council.

When he’s not designing allied health facilities, Alex enjoys driving a tractor on his farm or navigating his boat in the fog off the coast of Maine.
