One of our values is we do what is right—and our reputation is built around integrity to that commitment. It shapes everything we do, from our health and safety culture to our professional excellence in project work to our responsibilities on projects within our communities.
Our Integrated Management System (IMS) is focused on providing a disciplined and accountable framework for how we provide services to our clients and communities. The scope of the system includes all critical business processes. Our IMS promotes transparent accountability through rigorous performance assessment, clarifies expectations for employees and management, facilitates formal and regular client feedback to promote continual improvement, and supports regulatory compliance. In addition, we have an ISO27001 certified Information Security Management System.
The IMS is certified to the following three internationally recognized International Standards Organization (ISO) standards: ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standard, ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management Standard, and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Standard. In addition, we have an ISO/IEC20000-1:2018-certified IT Service Management System that is focused on IT service management.
These standards make up the distinct components of our IMS, which are the quality, health and safety, environmental, and information technology management processes that apply to all Stantec operations.
Stantec is one of the first companies in our market to achieve these ISO certifications across our global operations.
