Classroom/Virtual Course
The Department of Transportation (DOT) Hazmat Awareness training applies to all workers that are involved in the preparation of transportation of hazardous materials. This includes not only drivers and manufacturers, but anyone who manufactures, repairs, or reconditions containers used to transport hazardous materials. This course provides information on how to use the hazardous materials table and navigate the DOT regulations, specifies hazard labels, placards, and markings that are required. The course identifies exceptions to the requirements and details the necessary packaging requirements for hazardous materials.
