Classroom/Virtual Courses

Our Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) classroom courses are in compliance with MSHA requirements for the training of miners.

30 CFR Part 48 Subpart A (Underground) New Miner Training Section 48.5 (40 hours)
To be able to work at a metal/nonmetal underground mines, employees must have this training.

30 CFR Part 48 Subpart B (Surface) New Miner Training Section 48.25 (24 hours)
To be able to work at a metal/nonmetal surface mines, employees must have this training.

30 CFR Part 48 Subpart A&B (Underground-Surface) Annual Refresher Section 48.8 & 48.28 (10 hours)
A refresher training for personnel who have both underground and surface training.

Prerequisites:

  • 30 CFR Part 48 Subpart A (Underground) New Miner Training Section 48.5
  • 30 CFR Part 48 Subpart B (Surface) New Miner Training Section 48.25

30 CFR Part 48 Subpart A (Underground) Annual Refresher Section 48.8 (8 hours)
A refresher training for personnel who have underground training.

Prerequisites:

  • 30 CFR Part 48 Subpart A (Underground) New Miner Training Section 48.5

30 CFR Part 48 Subpart B (Surface) Annual Refresher Section 48.28 (8 hours)
A refresher training for personnel who have surface training.

Prerequisites:

  • 30 CFR Part 48 Subpart B (Surface) New Miner Training Section 48.25
