Personal protective equipment (PPE) is widely used among all industry sectors, from construction, education, and government to healthcare, industrial, transportation, and utilities. PPE can be mishandled, used incorrectly, and in some circumstances, is not provided to workers where it is required. Training workers on the use of PPE can alleviate these issues. In this course, we discuss legislative requirements, including the owner’s obligation to provide and maintain PPE, and the use, care, and limitations of PPE. This training helps your workers understand the requirements for PPE and all types of PPE—which includes eye and face protection, head protection, foot protection, hand protection, protective clothing, hearing protection, and respiratory protection.
