Radiation is the emission of energy as electromagnetic waves that are high-energy particles which cause ionization. It is often categorized as either ionizing or non-ionizing, depending on the energy of the radiated particles. Our course details information on the different types of radiation, regulatory requirements and guidelines for radiation, exposure limits, health effects, measurement, and control methods to reduce radiation exposure.
Awareness (1-hour)
Training for general staff with radiation issues in the workplace.
Awareness (2-hour)
Training for building personnel or staff that may need to work near radioactive issues.
Awareness (4-hour)
Client-specific training for staff working with radioactive materials or near radiologically impacted areas.
