Spreading the word about saving fuel and reducing emissions
Natural Resources Canada started their ecoENERGY for Personal Vehicles (eEPV) Program to get Canadian drivers thinking about how much fuel they use and how much greenhouse gas they’re creating. The eEPV Program provides drivers with information on a wide range of topics, with the goal of not only reducing emissions, but helping Canadians save fuel too.
So Natural Resources Canada asked us to research and write a series of fact sheets and bulletins on a wide range of topics including ecodriving techniques, differences between various types of vehicle engines, and how to compare hybrid and electric vehicles. Natural Resources Canada also wanted drivers to know about how temperature can affect the performance of their engines, and how using the air conditioning can increase their fuel consumption.
The bilingual bulletins will be made available to Canadians through Natural Resources Canada’s website.
