Lyme disease is the most common tickborne infection in the US, and there are many different types of ticks that can transmit pathogens to unsuspecting hosts. Our course provides information to outdoor workers on their susceptibility to tick bites, control methods in preventing tick bites, and signs and symptoms. You learn about types of ticks and tickborne diseases and different methods of checking for ticks.
