Stantec’s Samuel Walters speaks to IHEA, Australia in Healthcare Facilities regarding patients who suffer from healthcare associated infections
The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare has released data confirming year on year that roughly 165,000 patients in Australia suffer from experiencing healthcare associated infections (HAIs). While this statistic seems vital, it does not adequately describe the consequences and impacts HAIs have on patients' lives, let alone the implications of managing COVID-19 outbreaks.
