The pressure is on as mining companies now work towards massive carbon reductions on the path to net zero. The emission reduction solutions are not simple, and mine owners and operators often must overcome many hurdles. In the article, Stantec’s Mining, Minerals, and Metals Senior Vice President Brian Mashford said “We’re really at a turning point in the industry now. It’s not about why we’re doing this but about how… We’re seeing a lot of requests to help clients figure out how to implement technologies and become more comfortable with where things are going to be downstream.”
