Collaboration makes rare mile-long stream restoration opportunity a reality

Sean Collins and John Smyth tell American Public Works Association how work on the South Fork Rush Creek improves water quality and the ecosystem
When nearly 150 acres bracketing a mile-long stretch of the South Fork Rush Creek came up for development within the Maple Grove, Minneapolis suburb, City officials seized the rare opportunity to develop a massive environmental project with a farm field being turned into a neighborhood of single-family and attached family homes.
