An informative presentation by Stantec, Dylan Hemmings (VP, Environmental Services) on Excess Soil. In December 2019, the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation, and Parks (MECP) released a new regulation under the Environmental Protection Act, titled “On-Site and Excess Soil Management” to support improved management of excess soil from construction projects. This presentation is an overview of the regulations and how it will change how you manage soil on your project sites.
