Impacts of the Updated Steam Electric Power Generation ELGs

In Fall 2020, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published proposed revisions to the effluent limitation guidelines (ELGs) related to flu gas desulphurization (FGD) and bottom ash (BA) transport water effluent limits. Mandated under the Clean Water Act, these industry-specific guidelines are the national standards for wastewater discharges to surface waters.
In this webinar, Stantec’s Bill Kennedy discusses these ELG revisions, how they may affect your coal fired power plant, and what utilities need to do to prepare for their implementation.
