The EPA has set new maximum contaminant levels for PFAS in drinking water
Join Joseph Jacangelo, Tyler Hadacek, and Liz Garvey as they discuss what these new regulations mean for water utilities. This webinar will feature a case study example being initiated for the Potomac River in the Washington, DC-Metro area. Viewers will hear ideas on how to manage PFAS waste through various treatment methods for water treatment residuals and spent media. Our team will also explore current technologies, potential advancements, cost estimates for disposal and treatment, and important factors to consider when operating a PFAS treatment system for drinking water.

Joseph Jacangelo has more than three decades of experience in environmental health engineering specializing in water quality and treatment, water and wastewater disinfection, membrane technology, and public health.

A water, wastewater, and water reuse treatment senior environmental engineer, Tyler has been involved with a variety of treatment infrastructure efforts, ranging from small well head applications to full-scale plants.
