Building Dubai’s first integrated cancer hospital using Autodesk Forma

Our team engaged Autodesk Forma to accelerate early stage design for Dubai’s integrated cancer hospital by providing real-time environmental insights
Autodesk Forma helped our design team accelerate the early stage design for Dubai’s first integrated cancer hospital. How? It provided real-time environmental insights—including wind, solar, and embodied carbon analysis. Those insights allowed the team to consider shading strategies, energy efficiency, and LEED Gold alignment from the outset.
The team evaluated dozens of site-specific scenarios, reduced rework, and streamlined cross-border collaboration. They were able to use Forma and Revit together. And it helped speed up design decisions and delivery.
Autodesk’s cloud-shared data tools allowed our team’s 120 employees, who were spread across 12 time zones, to collaborate on the project.
