On this Design Hive episode, Industrial sector leader Greg Hall talks about designing the next generation of advanced manufacturing facilities.
The global pandemic exposed the fragility of the supply chain. As a result, North America and Europe are “reshoring” some of these facilities. With reshoring, manufacturers are bringing some high-tech factories closer to their markets. It’s not simple to design and build these future factories. In some cases, the manufacturing processes in these plants are not yet invented.
