The healthcare sector is a significant contributor to carbon emissions and global warming. Many healthcare systems are interested in reducing their carbon emissions. But decarbonizing healthcare isn’t a simple matter of electrification.
In this episode, healthcare sector leader Tariq Amlani explains what’s driving decarbonization efforts in Canada’s hospitals. He talks about the special power and resiliency requirements that hospitals have. Tariq tells us why the grid in some regions is friendlier to electrification than others.
