Public health meets water management: A day in the life of Mackenzie

How does a doctorate in public health lead to a career in the water industry? For Mackenzie Burns, project management leader with Stantec’s Water team, the transition was seamless. Now rooted in Las Vegas, she combines her passion for public health with water resources management. From wastewater treatment to water reuse and more, Mackenzie is part of projects that are helping to provide clean, safe water to communities.
