This article from Trenchless Technology, co-authored by Stantec, looks at a trenchless rehab project on a 110-year-old sewer system in Toronto, Canada
Toronto Water recently began the third phase of a project to rehabilitate its High-Level Interceptor, one of three interceptors serving the city, near the city’s downtown area. Updates to the 110-year-old brick sewer centered around a trenchless approach, with Stantec leading design for Phase III of the project. A collaborative team approach made it possible to develop innovative solutions, despite construction challenges, for successful completion.
