Stantec’s Lauren Meyer talks ESG in mining with Engineering & Mining Journal

From designing underground mosques to treating wastewater, Lauren Meyer talks about people and mining. Lauren, co-leader of Stantec’s Sustainable Mining by Design initiative, describes how ESG considerations have become a major focus in mining.  She shares how the “E” for Environment often overshadows the “S” for Social. But social aspects will become increasingly important in the future.
