NRCS Incentive Program—Restore your Oak Ecosystem

Are you a conservation-minded private landowner in southeast Wisconsin or northeast Illinois with significant woodland acreage? If so, consider applying for funding and technical assistance.

Cost-share enrollment now available

Stantec is partnering with American Bird Conservancy and regional partners to offer cost-share incentives and technical assistance for private property owners to support oak ecosystem conservation practices through the NRCS Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP).

Our team of skilled ecosystem restoration specialists are highly experienced in restoring oak ecosystems and are eager to support interested private landowners in preserving these critical resources. Service offerings include property assessment and inventory; forest management planning; development of a funding strategy; ecosystem restoration and management; and follow-up monitoring and reporting.

Practices such as forest thinning, invasive species removal, and/or prescribed fire are eligible for funding and required to restore and manage healthy oak ecosystems.
