"text": "
The knowledge economy will dominate job growth by 2040, shifting how talent moves around the country. Knowledge workers are increasingly flocking to well-connected, amenity-rich cities and bolstering their cities’ economic growth. But with influences like remote work and the rising cost of living, knowledge workers are looking for a more integrated quality of life. The solution? Innovation ecosystems.
Planning and urban design leader David Dixon, in collaboration with Planetizen, teaches how focusing on placemaking and proximity can help cities create a breeding ground for innovation—and creative collisions.
This course is approved for AICP CM credits.
