Mike Voll was published in the June 2018 edition of IEEE's Smart Grid Newsletter. His article focused on the David Johnston Research and Technology Park microgrid. Stantec is developing a microgrid concept where a small commercial community can participate in a microgrid to provide resiliency, energy cost reduction and energy cost certainty in a setting that could be replicated across North America and beyond.
