Stantec supports Mississippi Children’s Museum with landscaping gift

Donation enhances LeFleur’s Bluff, creating a welcoming and vibrant entry point with native Mississippi plantings
Stantec recently joined the Mississippi Children’s Museum (MCM) and community partners to celebrate the transformation of LeFleur’s Bluff—a vibrant urban oasis in Jackson, Mississippi. As part of this effort, Stantec made a donation to landscape the central island at the newly paved joint entrance, creating a welcoming gateway with native Mississippi plantings.
The LeFleur’s Bluff project connects the MCM with the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science. It features an award-winning playground, outdoor pavilion, literacy and conservation-themed connector trail, and a 1.2-mile biking and walking path.
The contribution helped complete the final landscaping, complementing recent paving work and enhancing the site as a premier destination for families, students, and visitors.
Stantec has deepened its presence across the city in recent years, including the firm’s work on restoring the water system for Jackson.
