Construction is underway on the Four Seasons Lake Austin Private Residences, an ultra-luxury residential community located 20 minutes from downtown Austin. Serving as the executive architect, Stantec partnered with Handel Architects and DBOX to design the lakeside development, offering residents the comforts and amenities of high-end condominium living alongside a sublime waterfront setting.
Across 13 terraced mid-rise buildings, with a total footprint of 1.56 million square feet, the Residences will include 189 condominiums and 28 private villas. Residents will enjoy a lifestyle of active leisure, with access to a spa and wellness center, on-site fine dining, a private waterfront with a 42-slip boat dock, and a sports complex that offers a golf simulator, and courts for basketball, pickleball, and other paddle sports.
Appreciation for the striking site overlooking the meandering bank of Lake Austin was central to the design team’s approach. A deep understanding of the location’s unique topography, sightlines, and existing ecology has resulted in a design that will feel thoughtfully connected to its setting. The project is expected to be completed by early 2030.
