Canada’s Department of National Defence (DND) manages the largest and most complex property infrastructure portfolio in the federal government, directly supporting Canadian Armed Forces’ (CAF) readiness. The total replacement cost of DND’s portfolio is approximately C$28 billion, and it is managed using an approximate annual budget of $3.1 billion.
“We have a long and successful track record working with the CAF, DND, and Defence Construction Canada,” said Robert Dumaresq, Stantec’s DND account manager. “With respect to DND’s enhanced focus on northern defence, Stantec has gained extensive experience over four decades of working with Indigenous communities by delivering programs that have provided positive and mutually beneficial outcomes.”
