Russell Rocker joins Stantec’s Sacramento Healthcare Design Team
Industry veteran brings 20-year background with a focus on green and lean design

Russell Rocker, AIA, has joined Stantec—a global architecture, engineering, and consulting firm—as a healthcare architect in the firm’s Sacramento, California, office. He has 20 years of California design experience with a recent focus on healthcare. Other experience includes mixed-use residential, and low-income senior and affordable housing projects in southern California.
Rocker has been an integral part on a variety of healthcare projects in the Sacramento region, including acute care hospitals, behavioral health facilities, and medical offices. At Stantec, he will be a project architect, providing key support relative to project design development and construction documents through coordination with both consultants and the various jurisdictions.

Rocker has extensive experience working with California healthcare clients, including Sutter Health, the University of California Davis Medical Center, and the California Department of Corrections on its in-prison healthcare facilities.
Rocker is a graduate of the University of California Berkeley College of Environmental Design.
