Federal Highway Administration selects Stantec-led joint venture for construction management and inspection services

Stantec-Volkert-JMT Joint Venture to support Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division in administering and managing highway and bridge construction projects across the US East

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division (EFLHD) has selected the Stantec-Volkert-JMT Joint Venture to lead a five-year, US$80 million shared capacity task order contract for construction management and inspection services. In this role, the team will support EFLHD in administering and managing highway and bridge construction projects across the agency’s US Eastern region.

Building on a more than 20-year relationship with the Federal Highway Administration and complementing Stantec’s strategic focus on US Federal program growth, we look forward to applying our deep roadway and bridge expertise in the mission to maintain and update our nation’s infrastructure.

As part of this contract, the Stantec-Volkert-JMT Joint Venture will provide onsite personnel, specifically project office engineers, construction inspectors, and project managers, to assist EFLHD field staff overseeing projects within the region. The agency’s Eastern region includes Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, the Virgin Islands, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The Stantec-Volkert-JMT Joint Venture, offering a robust team of transportation construction inspection professionals across the United States and territories, was formed specifically to support this contract.
