Stantec, Tetra Tech Joint Venture awarded architecture/engineering contract by the US Army Corps of Engineers

The team will support civil works projects with an emphasis on dam and levee safety engineering

Stantec and Tetra Tech, through a joint venture partnership, have been awarded a $60 million, five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) multiple award task order contract by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District. The team will support the Risk Management Center on Dam and Levee Safety Projects, providing architecture/engineering services for civil works projects within the United States and its territories.

Under this contract, Stantec and Tetra Tech will provide dam and levee safety engineering and design services, including, but not limited to, geotechnical, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, structural, civil/site engineering, hydrology, geology, geophysics, seismology, and construction cost estimating. The team will also provide risk analysis services, technical review services, safety assurance reviews, and agency technical reviews as part of the USACE Dam and Levee Safety Programs to ensure public health, safety, and welfare.

Partnering with USACE, Stantec assisted in developing USACE’s risk-informed portfolio management framework and supported all aspects of the risk assessment process by providing the full range of services for traditional dam safety design and analysis, from specialized studies to comprehensive design and development of construction plans and specifications.
