08/01/2023 TORONTO, ON TSX, NYSE:STN

Global integrated design firm Stantec recently announced the appointment of Joshua Hale to regional business leader for the firm’s Buildings practice in the Canada East region.

Hale, a 13-year Stantec veteran, will apply his strategic business acumen and leadership excellence to guide regional business efforts in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across Canada. His project work at Stantec is diverse -- spanning airports, civic, commercial, federal, and other markets across the Canada East region.

In his new role, Hale will build and strengthen connections between the firm’s Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic teams to achieve client success. He is committed to effective collaboration and planning to achieve successful design solutions and business outcomes, evidenced through a number of long-term client relationships throughout the region.

Since joining Stantec, Hale has grown his skills within the company, joining the firm as a mechanical engineer and project manager, and over time taking on new career challenges.

“With Josh’s exemplary design and engineering background, he will inspire our team to continue delivering strong results for our clients,” said Arliss Szysky, senior vice president for Buildings at Stantec. “He is stepping in to lead a strong region for us, and Josh’s direction will be critical to our success in this expanding market.”
