Stantec expands Growth and Innovation Team

Peter Bokor brings 30 years of experience in the execution, delivery, and management of various projects in diverse industrial market segments

Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, has welcomed Peter Bokor to the Company’s Growth and Innovation Office as a senior vice president. Based in the firm’s Irvine office, Bokor will support the development and execution of strategic plans and help oversee key accounts and corporate growth campaigns. He will also help develop and deploy strategic growth initiatives across the Stantec enterprise.

Bokor brings 30 years of experience in the execution, delivery, and management of various projects in diverse industrial market segments. He has acted as principal-in-charge, project advisor, and project manager on numerous projects in the oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, food and beverage, technology, and heavy industrial manufacturing market segments. Bokor also has extensive experience managing projects dealing with groundwater treatment and remediation. More recently, Bokor served as principal-in-charge and client manager for several hyper-scale datacenter clients focused on the assessment and due diligence of new greenfield sites and the development of sustainable water supply and wastewater discharge for these potential facilities while incorporating water reuse opportunities.

Bokor is a graduate of University of California, Davis, with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical and aeronautical engineering and of the Anderson School of Management at University of California, Los Angeles with and MBA in finance. He is a member of the American Water Works Association and of the WaterReuse Research Foundation where he was supporting the industrial/commercial reuse committee.

Stantec’s innovation program was launched in 2016, and the Company’s Innovation Office was formalized in 2020. Innovation at Stantec continues to evolve with the marrying of Innovation and Growth in 2022 under the leadership of John Take, Chief Growth and Innovation Officer, and Eric Monteith, Director of Innovation.
