We’ve served this community since the 1960s, and opened our office in the business district in 2013 to support multiple clients, like our long-standing partner Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP). We have supported numerous projects across the region including the Finchaa-Amarti-Nashe (FAN) Project, Genale Dawa 3 Hydropower Project and the Tekeze Hydropower Project. Our services are providing clean, reliable, renewable energy for the region. 

The Tekeze Hydropower Project, completed in 2010, is the tallest dam in Africa and was a project of the year award recipient from Power Engineering Magazine. Our team reviewed and prepared designs, prepared construction drawings, packaged and evaluated bids, and managed construction in a remote and mountainous region. The result of our efforts? A 40 percent increase over the 683 megawatts of energy previously generated for the entire country. Not only that, but the project also allowed for sustainable social and economic growth for Ethiopians, and the local community infrastructure was greatly improved—including the construction of more than 40 kilometres of roads and the first installation of communications links form the area to the outside world.

We’ve been positioning ourselves to engage in key water supply and waste water projects, as well as creating strong ties with the Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Energy of Ethiopia. We currently have multiple initiatives under way, including an active assignment in hydroelectric development on Ethiopian Electric Power's Genale-Dawa III Project (GD-3), to increase access to the power and water markets through identification of alternative funding, through capacity building in both consultant and construction markets, and through institutional strengthening of the energy sector in the country.
