Whitehorse, Yukon
Welcome to Whitehorse
Whether working in the beautiful mountain City of Whitehorse or in the remote community of Old Crow, our skilled, hardworking, and energetic professionals apply their various expertise with passion and enthusiasm. They’re ready to meet the many challenges that arise from working in Canada’s hidden jewel—the Yukon.
We contribute architectural, engineering, archeology, environmental, planning, and civil engineering services to thriving communities across the Yukon, and we actively support interesting work in other sectors including healthcare, mining, and geotechnical.
We might be working and playing on more than 800 kilometres (500 miles) of biking/skiing trails in Whitehorse or supporting the City’s vibrant Arts community or the active lifestyle (from hockey, soccer, and gymnastics to skiing, climbing, and kayaking)—either way, we’re helping keep Whitehorse world class.
Representing the true spirit of the North, our team is a group of committed colleagues and friends that work together and play together.
Zoë Morrison, Community Planner
I often see my planning role as a translator—we work with everyone to really understand situations and come up with the right solutions.
Sandy Birrell, Associate, Mechanical Engineer
I love to see a project come to reality—from idea to structure. I feel lucky to contribute, and it makes coming to work a great experience.
Lesley Cabott, Senior Planner
Planning is about people and places. Planning allows opportunities to be created and community values to be celebrated.
Jeff Muirhead, Water Resources Engineer
The real key to a successful project is working “between the silos” with diverse, open-minded, cross-discipline project teams.

Our office has opportunities to work on all sorts of jobs—from water treatment plants and road design to community engagement.
Christiane Buie, Environmental Planner
I enjoy applying my experience in environmental law and policy to help plan projects that benefit our society and the environment.
