Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Riyadh is the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—which translates to “the gardens” in Arabic. As the third-largest city in the Arab world with a population of approximately 7 million, it’s a thriving metropolis and the commercial center of the country.

The city has an ambitious plan to double its population by 2030—increasing investments in infrastructure, transport, housing, health, and education, as well as meeting the goals of Vision 2030. From our office in Riyadh, we are already helping to shape the future of the kingdom. Our teams are providing services for the buildings, infrastructure, and water sectors from master planning through to detailed design. Right now, we’re working on Shurayrah Island supporting the development of the tourism industry with The Red Sea Development Company on various high-end hospitality projects. We’ve also worked on improving drinking water quality and supplies across the six largest cities in the Eastern Province by developing models to optimize and enhance water networks.

On these projects and more, we provide diverse expertise in response to local challenges, catering to the needs of our clients from hospitality, healthcare, and water scarcity to stormwater management.
