Tauranga is a harbourside city in the North Island’s Bay of Plenty region and New Zealand’s fifth most populous city. It boasts some of the country’s most beautiful beaches and is a real hotspot for retirees, young families and tourists alike.

Tauranga is one of New Zealand’s fastest growing cities and combined with the largest port in the country, has significant roading and transport challenges. Our local team has worked closely with its community, Tauranga City Council and Waka Kotahi to solve the challenges created by a growing population.

The Tauranga team are known for safety engineering, resource management assessments, traffic engineering design, intersection investigation, and design and operation, including signalisation—all leading to work on commercial and residential development projects which involve master planning the public space to ensure good connectivity.
