Almondsbury, United Kingdom

Steeped in history, Almondsbury was first mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, where it appears as Almodesberie, meaning Æthelmod's or Ealhmund's burgh or fortified place. Today, Almondsbury lies on the outskirts of Bristol within a stone’s throw of the M5 and the Cribbs Causeway retail hub.

Surrounded by rolling hills with impressive views overlooking the Severn estuary and Wales, our Almondsbury office is home to a talented team of nuclear, civil and structures, geotechnical and environmental, acoustics, air quality, and strategic projects specialists.

We collaborate closely with our central Bristol team on projects in and around the city and wider region, working together on projects such as Hinkley Point C and The Wave. Hinkley Point C is the first nuclear power station to be built in the United Kingdom in over two decades and will provide net zero carbon electricity for approximately six million homes. The Wave is Europe’s first full-size outdoor surfing lake, born out of a passion for technology, nature, and human health.
