Sacramento (Capitol Mall), California
Welcome to Sacramento
It’s more than just a project, it’s a community.
A healing hospital environment, affordable family housing, mind-altering academic buildings, collaborative workspaces, and spacious recreation centers are all ways that our office creates communities.
Drawing from experience that spans over 50 years in the Sacramento region, we strive to build more than just majestic landmarks; we strive to build unique places. Whether we’re creating new communities or revitalizing old ones, we always stay true to local values. This means projects like the UC Davis Medical Center Surgery and Emergency Services Pavilion, the Kaiser Roseville Medical Center, and the CSU Chico Colusa Hall remodel truly belong to the communities they serve and become an integral part of them.
When it comes to our work, we’re passionate, we’re proud, and we see projects beyond what they are to what they could be—communities.

Todd W. Rhoads, Vice President
The best part of collaborating with communities is helping ideas come to life and watching people fill their new spaces with laughter and activity.
Alfonso Rodriguez, Vice President, Transportation, US Pacific
I enjoy working with people who have passion for what they do. Maybe that’s why I enjoy Emerson’s quote so much 'Nothing great was ever accomplished without enthusiasm'. It’s exciting to create a better way and make a difference for so many in the communities where we work and live.
