Santa Barbara (Calle Cesar Chavez), California

Welcome to Santa Barbara

With the Santa Ynez Mountains as a backdrop, Santa Barbara stands out for its outdoor adventures, arts and cultures, and its food and wine scene.

Working in a variety of terrains—including riparian, grasslands, coastlines, desert, and tidal wetlands—this team supports public and private clients by preparing large deliverables on complex projects as well as a variety of local projects. Our work for Southern California Edison helps ensure one of California’s largest utilities can keep the lights on while protecting our sensitive environmental resources. From California Environmental Quality Act/National Environmental Policy Act (CEQA/NEPA) analysis to regulatory permitting, compliance, and assistance with threatened/endangered and invasive species, we assist in overcoming constraints and building sustainable environments.

Our Santa Barbara team includes technical specialists with field experience in areas including ecology, biology, fisheries, wetlands, botany, urban planning, statistics, and archaeology. These expert scientists, engineers and planners have delivered on projects of all sizes for sectors including utilities, government, energy, and agriculture.
