Hyannis, Massachusetts

With its large natural harbor, Hyannis is the largest port for recreational boating and the second largest for commercial fishing on Cape Cod. A major tourist destination, it’s also the main ferry boat connection for passengers to Nantucket—and it’s where we call home. Our office focuses on civil and environmental engineering for both private and municipal clients.

People from our office have been involved in numerous Cape Cod, island, and New England wastewater treatment projects. Recently, they improved the water supply protection within a small seasonal community and developed the first municipal water supply for the Town of Carver.  This project included helping the Town secure grants for land acquisition and construction, new source approval for water supply development, and the design of the water supply treatment and distribution system.

Additional local projects include transportation improvements throughout the Cape and the rehabilitation and redesign of the 22-mile (35.4-kilometre) Cape Cod Trail, the first rail trail in the nation.
