For years, Serkan has applied his skills as a Senior Landscape Architecture to projects in Turkey and the Middle East. These places are home to some of the oldest planned-spaces in recorded history. As a result, he creates solutions that nuance how communities and cultures experience and use space. With a broad range experience, he has worked on projects including: public spaces, commercial/retail developments, streetscapes, master-planned communities, mixed-use developments, hospitals, urban regeneration, residential communities, parks, and rooftop gardens.
He loves the purpose of his work and creates designs that are creative, inclusive, sustainable, and practical. He believes that attention to detail is crucial for successful project outcomes. His passion is working on multidisciplinary teams where he can share his knowledge and skills and learn from others.
Away from the workspace, Serkan enjoys aqua-scaping and loves visiting plant nurseries. He also enjoys weightlifting, playing video games, and exploring new places and sampling new cuisines.
