As an engineering consultant, Waleed is part of our Low Carbon Solutions group, where he helps clients decarbonize their operations with techno-economic evaluations. Along with a belief that the energy transition holds new opportunities for growth and innovation, he brings several years of process experience from hydrogen, natural gas, biofuels, and oil upgrading plants—where he succeeded in various technical, operations, and commercial roles.
Waleed’s experience as an operations engineer for world-class industrial facilities includes one of the largest hydrogen plants in the world. Always looking to innovate, he’s expanded his expertise to other vectors in the energy transition mix, including renewables, carbon capture, and energy storage.
Outside of the office, Waleed is passionate about exploring international culture and cuisine, whether it’s through traveling or trying new restaurants in the city. He also enjoys sailing in the San Diego bay.
