Amir’s passion for the treatment of drinking water began in college where he learned about the many challenges engineers try to solve. Now, as a water treatment specialist with more than 10 years of experience, he’s tackled complex problems by finding creative and practical solutions.
Amir combines his experience with coagulation chemistry, process design, and machine learning to develop unique solutions. His most notable accomplishment included—developing a machine learning model using that takes the guesswork out of coagulation optimization. The model does not require prior training on plant historical data to be used. Amir creates tools that help operators and utilities produce safe, cost-effective drinking water.
Holding bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in civil engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Amir is pleased to help clients meet their goals. As a nature-lover he enjoys spending time outdoors. His favorite activity is mountain biking.
