Laura is a health scientist and a certified industrial hygienist. As a member of our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) Advisory Services team, she supports clients in managing ESG risks and building operational resilience. She also helps them understand human health and environmental impacts arising from their operations.
Passionate about applying holistic approaches to protecting worker health, Laura incorporates strategies into her work that address disparities among worker populations and the communities they live in. She recently supported a professional trade organization with assessing and communicating risks arising from formaldehyde exposure during embalming. She assessed both the state of knowledge and gaps in knowledge around formaldehyde exposures. This work resulted in a peer-reviewed publication in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Health.
When she’s not addressing human health issues in the workplace, Laura enjoys hiking with her family and attending concerts.
