Paul leads a team of Stantec lawyers, paralegals, and other professionals responsible for the full range of Stantec’s legal affairs. This includes contracts, litigation, employment law, corporate law, privacy, insurance, integrity and ethics, enterprise risk management, and acquisitions. He joined Stantec in 1998, and he’s led our legal department since 2011.
Paul earned his bachelor of commerce, MBA, and LLB at the University of Alberta. His experience in law is wide ranging, including seven years of private practice focusing on employment and labor law and acting as an adjunct professor of law at the University of Lethbridge (Edmonton, Alberta campus) teaching labor and employment law.
When he isn’t shaping our legal team, Paul enjoys woodworking and spending time with his three children and two grandchildren.
