The research performed in laboratories is complex and exacting, as is the process of designing and building these places of discovery. Farshad has 25 years of managing, planning, design, and construction of laboratory and technically complex science and technology facilities. A proven leader, he counts on his strong communication skills, and ability to foster relationships, to create repeat clients with trust and confidence in his team.
His philosophy is that we can only strive towards perfection, to always get better. This realization helps Farshad to avoid micromanaging and allows him to delegate with confidence in his team members, and junior staff. He values empowering them to take ownership and responsibility of their work, and to help them grow and advance in their careers. He believes that no one knows everything, and we can always learn new things every day from everyone. Farshad enjoys finding creative ways to engage team members, clients, and stakeholders to maximize their involvement and contribution to the project.
Away from the office he enjoys spending time and traveling with his family. With a passion for experiencing different cultures and seeing and feeling their architecture, his goal is to visit as many continents and countries as possible.
