Jakes’s keen eye for detail serves him well as a civil engineer, mainly working on utility and site design projects. Growing up as the son of a contractor, Jake has always had an affinity for project work and loves being a part of the project from start to finish.
As a lifetime Alaskan, Jake takes pride in working on projects that benefit the communities he knows so well. He has played a crucial role in many significant projects across Alaska, including many that provide safe drinking water for the public.
Driven by his passion for his projects and his chosen profession, Jake has taken the role of regional leader for our Developing Professionals Group. He fosters relationships with members throughout the organization and helps create a space for everyone to reach their highest potential.
Outside of work you’ll find Jake working on a DIY house project or up in Talkeetna at the cabin with his family, friends, and dogs.
