Known for developing architectural solutions that transform lives for the better, Ken is responsible for guiding our transit practice in the United States. His hard work ethic, strategic direction, and holistic approach have helped establish his team as one of the premier transit and public architecture groups in the nation.
Ultimately, Ken’s goal is to design spaces that touch the soul for every project regardless of size. His diverse project experience includes transit facilities, mixed-use commercial and residential buildings, and urban design developments. Recently, Ken completed the $120 million LEED-Gold LA Metro Division 13 Bus Operations & Maintenance Facility. Receiving several awards for sustainability and innovation, the project successfully integrates a highly-functional facility into the downtown fabric of Los Angeles.
Born and raised in northern Virginia, Ken spent the first part of his adult life as a professional tennis player on the international circuit. While his pro career was brief, it helped broaden his understanding of culture, history, and regional influences—all of which have contributed to making Ken a better architect, leader, and professional.
