Based in Lethbridge, Marty is a geographic information systems (GIS) analyst and team leader within our Water group. He has over 10 years of experience working on projects across a wide array of disciplines, prominently in wastewater, stormwater facility design and analysis, flood control, and drainage management.
Marty has expertise in GIS analysis and data management inherent in water related projects—he’s known as a go-to resource when time is against you. He frequently performs data gap analysis and finds innovative ways to fill those gaps to complete the required project inputs, which requires finding and integrating alternate sources of data. Marty is skilled in demographic transition model (DTM) development combining multiple input data sources, hydraulic modeling post-processing, and cartographic design.
Outside of work, Marty loves to spend time with his wife and kids playing games, camping near water, building something out of wood, or honing his skills in the kitchen. He loves to laugh, loves to travel, and loves good food.
