As a senior integrated water management specialist, Mike works with our team in Pasadena to support the integration of physical and social systems to achieve more resilient and holistic water management. Whether it’s helping different technical experts align efforts for multiple benefits or facilitating open and trustworthy dialog between agencies and diverse communities, he does it all.
Mike’s work includes water and watershed governance and management, decision-support assessments of conditions and management effort, and facilitation of technical and social engagements. He has experience ensuring that members of low-income and under-represented communities have opportunities to contribute to natural resources planning.
For Mike, life outside work is busy with family activities—weekends consist of errands, viola lessons, caring for his native plant garden, and running the occasional Dungeons and Dragons game for his son and friends. Mike’s family is also big Liverpool FC fans, and watch matches whenever they can.
