Tom is a mechanical engineer and engineering discipline leader in our Canada Buildings group. In his over 35 years of experience, Tom has participated in all areas of the consulting engineering business including his continued role as a project engineer and project manager.
He’s completed the design and project management of mechanical systems on key projects including the new regional hospital for the Five Hills Health Region, the student residences building and the Centre for Kinesiology, Health, and Sport at the University of Regina, as well as the historic rehabilitation and renovation of the Saskatchewan legislative building.
Tom’s philosophy is to work in a truly integrated manner—to develop solutions for clients that are cost effective, practical, and efficient. He understands the inter-relationships of building systems and integrates operations and maintenance requirements into systems design. He’s volunteered in many capacities in his home community of Regina including with the Consulting Engineers of Saskatchewan and with Scouts Canada. Over his career, Tom has received both ASHRAE and Consulting Engineers of Saskatchewan awards.
